Terms of Use and Submission Policy

By browsing, signing in, creating a member profile, submitting an event, or using any feature of the Fan Support information site (fansupport.joelin.cc, “this site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. What These Terms Cover

By browsing, signing in, creating a member profile, submitting an event, or using any feature of this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What This Site Is and Is Not

• This site is an independent, fan-run information site. It compiles publicly available information and links out to official sources, and has no official affiliation whatsoever with any artist, group, agency, or brand listed here; all names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
• For user-submitted events, this site is a platform that provides a publishing service — not the creator, reviewer, or rights-verifier of the content.
• Listing, curating, or featuring any content does not imply approval, endorsement, or that verification has taken place. This site does not accept paid placement.

3. Accounts

• Submitting requires signing in with a Joe ID. You are responsible for everything done under your account, and you must not let anyone else use it.
• The public display name, organizer bio, and public links you enter appear on the event pages you publish. Account identifiers and sign-in credentials are never made public.
• This site may suspend or terminate account access for violations of these terms.

4. Your Warranties and Responsibilities When You Submit (the most important clause)

4.1 You warrant that you hold the rights

By submitting any image or text, you warrant that:

1. the content was photographed or created by you, or you have obtained every necessary licence and consent;
2. the content does not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, likeness rights, privacy rights, or any other rights;
3. if the content shows an identifiable person, you have that person’s consent (and, for a minor, the consent of their legal guardian);
4. the content does not violate the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), nor the laws of the place where the event is held.

4.2 This site does not pre-screen

This site runs automated technical checks only on submissions (sign-in, file format and size, field completeness, URL safety, publishing quota). Passing those checks does not mean this site has verified that you hold the rights, nor that it approves the content. Responsibility for the legality of the content and for ownership of the rights rests with you.

4.3 If a claim arises, you are responsible and indemnify this site

If, because of content you submitted, a third party asserts rights against this site or brings a report, complaint, or legal action:

• you shall handle the matter yourself and bear full responsibility;
• you shall indemnify this site for the necessary costs it incurs as a result (including legal fees and the cost of takedown and notification handling).

This site may remove the content as soon as a claim is received, without waiting for the dispute to be resolved.

4.4 You may withdraw at any time

The copyright remains yours. You may take your event down yourself at any time, or write to us and ask this site to stop using it and remove it.

5. What You Licence This Site to Do

You grant this site a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to display your submission and to resize and reformat it on this site and its associated sites (for example, generating thumbnails, converting file formats, and producing share preview images).

The licence is limited to what this feature actually does — publishing your event and making it findable. This site will not put your submission to any other commercial use.

6. Where Your Event Will Appear

Once submitted and past the technical checks, your event is published immediately and receives a publicly shareable URL. From there, exposure has two tiers:

• Not being curated does not mean anything is wrong with your event, and it is not hidden — it stays public, stays searchable, and is still reachable from the page of the person being supported. Curation only means this site is actively promoting it on the home page.
• This site may decide whether to curate at its own discretion, without giving reasons, and guarantees no particular level of exposure.
• If you edit an event that has already been curated, the changes take effect on the event page immediately, but it must be curated again to return to the home page.
• The event map currently covers Taiwan locations only. Events held outside Taiwan can still be published; they simply do not appear on the map.

7. What You May Not Submit

• Content you do not hold the rights to (someone else’s photos, designs, videos, or writing).
• Content that infringes another person’s likeness rights, privacy, or reputation; private images shared without consent.
• Inappropriate content involving minors; sexual, violent, or graphic content.
• Impersonating another person or an official entity; fabricating events that do not exist.
• Scams, spam advertising, malicious links, and content unrelated to fan support events.
• Unlawful content, or content that encourages others to break the law.

This site may remove content that violates this clause without prior notice.

8. Reporting and Takedown

If you find content on this site that infringes your rights (your work, your likeness, incorrect personal data), or any submission that violates these terms:

Please include, as far as you can: the URL of the content in question, the right you are asserting, and what you would like this site to do. How we handle it:

1. Take down first, verify after: on receiving a specific takedown request, this site removes the disputed content first and then checks with both sides. We would rather pull it down first.
2. Notify the submitter: when content is removed, the original submitter is told why and given a chance to respond.
3. Mistakes are reversible: if verification shows there was no problem, the content can be restored.

Copyright notices and counter-notices are handled under Chapter VI-1 of the Copyright Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

9. Repeat Violations

Where the same account repeatedly submits violating content, this site may restrict its submission features, or suspend or terminate the account. During a suspension, you may not circumvent it by creating a new account or re-publishing.

10. Deleting Your Account and Data Retention

• You may delete your account. After deletion, this site stops publishing your event content and clears uploaded images in line with its policy.
• For traceability and dispute handling, this site retains submission records (member association, terms version, time of consent, event revisions, and handling history). These are never published on the site.
• Copies already downloaded by others, and content already cached by social platforms, are beyond this site’s reach.

11. Service Scope and Governing Law

• This site’s service is currently centred on Taiwan.
• The interpretation and application of these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
• For disputes arising from these terms or this site’s service, the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance.
• This clause applies wherever you are when you use this site.
• The Traditional Chinese version of these terms prevails. Other language versions are provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy, the Chinese version governs.

12. Disclaimer

• This site’s service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your content will be kept indefinitely.
• This site is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of user-submitted content; whether an event takes place as announced and whether its details are true is the organiser’s responsibility.
• Anything that results from following an external link on this site to another website is outside this site’s responsibility.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

13. Changes to These Terms

This site may amend these terms. When it does, the version code and effective date are updated. For material changes affecting your rights or obligations, you will be asked to confirm your agreement again before you can continue submitting. Your earlier consent record does not automatically carry over to a new version.

Claiming a Support Account and Submitting an Event

The “support accounts and fan clubs” list on an artist page is aggregated automatically from records of publicly run support projects, ordered by how many the account has run. Being listed does not imply this site’s approval or endorsement, and this site does not accept paid placement.

To claim your support account, add links to other platforms, or publish a fan event:

1. Already on our list: write to service@joelin.cc and include your support Instagram handle. If that handle appears in the support application records this site works from, we can verify it directly.
2. Not on the list: message our official account from the support Instagram account itself, or provide a verifiable link to that account in your email — this is how we confirm the applicant really owns the account.
3. Publish an event: once signed in, go to Create an event, add one image plus the event details, confirm the terms, and publish — you get a public share page. Publishing makes it public, searchable, and visible on the subject’s page and the map (see “6. Where Your Event Will Appear” above); whether it reaches the home feed is decided by this site’s curation, and not being curated does not mean anything is wrong with your event.

Data Accuracy and Corrections

Birthday data is verified against two sources as a rule. Entries from a league or team’s official roster carry a source label; entries resting on a single fan-support application record are marked “fan-provided” and are kept out of the page’s structured data; where none of these exist, the entry is marked undisclosed. If no verifiable source can be found, it is not listed — better missing than wrong.
